a day in minneapolis

I was able to spend some time with my friend Taylor a few weeks ago. It's kind of cool how we met, because my parents were on a walk, walked past her house and they connected through the dogs we both have, apparently golden doodles are truly the best dogs. hah! before that, Taylor and I were actually in a play together but we didn't really know each other. it's great whenever people ask Tay and I how we know each other. :) We have so much in common, and always have tons of fun together.

Even though I lived really close to Minneapolis/St. Paul for all my life, I really never went to either of them unless it for a big event, but Taylor has introduced the glorious city and adorable shops into my life. ;) I think I'm now in love with the city. I was also able to meet Meranda for the first time! It was kind of one of those "we sort of know each other" deals since we were friends on facebook & instagram and everything else, but we were finally able to meet face to face and enjoy some time together with Taylor. It's so much fun meeting new people, I just love it.

new life academy prom '13

... finally time for the real deal. & then grand march. :) whewwww. that's a lot of pictures. but I guess that's what a lot of prom is consumed with, pictures. this past weekend I was able to go to not one, but both of my best friends proms with them. It was so much fun to get to see Lexi all dressed up, and so much fun to be with her the whole morning while she got ready. I kid you not, I was like almost in tears at how pretty all of my friends looked. I'm going to be a wreck at their weddings. I love these girls so much and am so blessed to be able to know them all, and some of them, to have just met a month or so ago when I did the headband shoot. Although I didn't get to go to prom with a date this year, I know I have two more years for a chance, and cannot wait for it already. more pictures from ellie's prom coming soon! 

ps. iphone & camera pictures are mixed together here, and I know there are a few that aren't in focus, but deal with it. ;)
